Geocaching (pronounced geo-cashing) is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online. Geocaching is enjoyed by people from all age groups, with a strong sense of community and support for the environment.
Have a look at some of the following geocaching link directory. You will find these geocaching links useful if you are new or an established geocacher.
The largest geocaching website and where geocaching all started and the best place to get started to find your first cache. The website includes nearly 1,250,000 caches in over 200 countries around the world, as of Nov 2010.
An alternative to geocaching.com, Navicache.com lists nearly any type of geocache (within reason) and does not charge to access any of the caches listed in their database.
Opencaching provides independent, non-commercial listing sites based in the cacher's country. Opencaching list most types of cache, is less restrictive than some other sites, and does not charge for the use of the site.
